October 29th

So, we went to the baby doctor again for a check up. My blood pressure was high when we finally got back to see the doctor (but I was on the phone with the closing agent on our house at the time). They made me get off the phone, kick back in a recliner and turned off the lights. I had to switch chairs with TJ so he sat on the examining table. Anyways, I kicked back in the chair for about 10 minutes. The doc walks in, and sees TJ on the table and me in the chair, and TJ says "I think I'm pregnant!" HAHAHAHA Oh my gosh the look on her face was priceless! After we all regained composure they checked my BP again, and it had gone down. I explained to her that we have been trying to get our house sold for 7 months and she said, "Well, we won't worry about it a lot right now, but we will do an extensive check when you come back in 4 weeks."

We talked about how Paxton is moving a lot, and she told me that there are many women as far along as we are and they are JUST now starting to feel their little ones move. So, I was excited about that. I do have to go back on November 24th and do the glucose screening. I told her that I feel like I have been having some trouble with my blood sugar, so they are going to do some extra testing on it, just to make sure all is ok. And, I will have a couple more tests run and then will have to have another Rhogam shot, since I have A- blood. So, that is going to be a busy day. THEN, I go back on December 2nd and have the 3D exam done. OH MY GOODNESS! We are going to get to see what he looks like (sort of). I'm so excited. TJ won't get to go to this appointment, but we are going to record the experience, so we can watch it when he gets home from work! I'm so excited.

We got all the test results back from my blood work a couple weeks ago. They did the screening for Down Syndrome (and one other thing that I can't remember) and they both came back negative. She reviewed the ultrasound pics that the Rad Tech did a couple weeks ago and she says he looks quite healthy! So, I'm really happy that things are going well.

The other thing she found out about my blood tests was that my Rubella booster has worn off. She said it isn't safe to take a booster while I'm pregnant, but she doesn't want me to contract it in case we decide to have anymore children. So, while I'm still in the hospital they are going to give me a Rubella booster.

Oh! And, we got to listen to Paxton's heart beat. So, I get on the table and she gets the machine and puts it on my tummy, and I mean the MINUTE she put in on there and found his heart rate, it was like he THREW his arm up as hard as he could saying, "Don't touch me, I'm comfy!!!!" It was the strangest feeling I have felt this far! HILARIOUS though. He already has the tendencies of his dad! The appointment went very well!

So, then we went to Sherman......and..... CLOSED ON THE SALE OF OUR HOUSE!!!! Oh my goodness what a relief! This has been such a headache for TJ and me and I know it has contributed a lot to me being sick and not feeling well. Not to mention, it probably hasn't been a great thing for Paxton. BUT, its done! Its Over! THANK GOODNESS. Now I can focus on our lives in Ada, my work, and our soon to be little guy!

Well, appointment went well, and we sold the house! I would say it was quite a GREAT day!
