Well, its decided -- Our baby's name is Paxton Mack Johnson!
I am so excited. I know all of you are wondering how we have come to this name, so I'm going to tell you!
The first name that TJ came up with was Bob from Ada Johnson. HAHAHA. He said that way if the boy had a hard time reading or writing or understanding, he would always know how to spell his name and where he is from! HAHAHa. Yeah TJ, pretty funny, but NO WAY! :)
Ok, so those of you that know TJ, know that he is much like my dad and likes cars! So, one day I was trying to think of names related to cars.... Chevy, Diesel, etc... and TJ just laughed at me. So, I know he was thinking about it after that, and one day came home and said... Paxton. I said where in the world did you come up with Paxton. Don't get me wrong I like it a lot, but where did you get it. He said, "Well, Paxton is a brand of SuperCharger made for cars" I just laughed and said GREAT! I was thrilled that he had input in the name. And Paxton is a neat name that is different from many other names. And you all know that I like DIFFERENT! :)
So, for his middle name. I have known for a long time that I wanted to use Mack in our little boy's name. And, we get to. A man I used to work for is named Mack. I attribute everything I know about my profession to him. He is great friends with my family, and his dad and my dad were great friends! And TJ really looks up to Mack as well. Mack does not have any children of his own, but has a heart the size of Tex....,well...., ok OU. :) And, how great to show him thanks for all he has done for my family and me, than to name our little boy after him.
So, there you have it. The name decision has been finalized. I know many people are going to say... "You have 17 weeks left, I'm sure you will change it by then" But I'm confident that our little Paxton Mack has a name that means a lot to me and my family! I'm excited that we have chosen this name. Now I just can't wait to meet him.
Well, there you have it. More info on the little one. We will share more as it happens. Thanks for reading!
