Week of December 1st and December 8th
I'm so proud of my hubby! We completed our prenatal classes this month. The first class was a bit traumatizing (according to TJ). The teacher threw us right into a 3 1/2 hour video over childbirth. TJ didn't talk about it for two days!! Finally he said, "Well DANG, I didn't know she was going to throw us right in, I thought we would get to know eachother first". It was really kinda cute! We had 4 classes total. Two of them were learning relaxation techniques, and TJ was wonderful. He really listened through out the classes and has been trying to help me get compfortable since I'm not really sleeping anymore. :) Well, I just have to tell you about the last class. We had to learn how to diaper and swaddle a baby! I was so excited about this because I JUST KNEW I was going to do well. So, TJ and both go to the front of the class, and my little floppy doll was NOT cooperating! I was able to diaper the little doll, but dang it, I just couldn't swaddle the darn thing! Well, guess who COULD swaddle it! Yep, TJ. And let me tell you, he is SO rubbing it in. So, guess what! He is the 'official' baby swaddler! And, I told him that, too! It is so funny because he has told EVERYONE how much better he can swaddle a baby! Hilarious! Love you Honey!
On the last night of the class we got a certificate saying we PASSED! I guess that is just the beginning!
Friday, December 12th
So, I left work a bit early on Friday and came home for awhile. I was sitting at my computer and felt this continuous slight jerking feeling in my lower tummy. It was happening every 2 to 3 seconds. I didn't pay much attention to it, then I realized!!!! Paxton had the hiccups! Now that I have realized what that feeling is, I have noticed that he has them about 2 times a day! It is so fun to feel that!!
Monday, December 15th (31 weeks, 9 weeks left)
Well, I had a doctor appointment on Monday this week. I think it went really well. First the nurse took my BP. It was WAY low. The Doc didn't seem concerned though, as it was fairly hight last time. Anyways, she asked if I was doing ok, and of course I am. I have just been feeling LOTS of pressure in the nether region. :) So, she had me lay back on the table and she felt around on my tummy. Paxton is already head down (that is what the pressure is) and she showed me where his butt is. That was so funny because now I can feel his butt everytime he moves around. She estimated that Paxton is about 4 pounds now. And, we can expect him to be right at 8 pounds when he is born. Also, I passed my glucose challenge test (good news, means I'm NOT diabetic)! I was really glad to hear about that!
After my Dr. appointment I had a breast feeding class at the hospital. This class was GREAT! It really helped calm some of my fears of breast feeding. I have always known I wanted to BF, but knowing that I will have to go back to work has just made me wonder if it all going to work out. And the class really showed me that it can work! I'm so excited!
Now
I have noticed that Paxton isn't kicking as much these days. He is just more switching positions. He stretches a lot, which is a neat feeling, but it kind of seems like he doesn't have much room anymore. But, I guess at 4 pounds, he doesn't have a lot of room. I can't sleep these days and my back CONSTANTLY hurts. I can't imagine what it will be like in a few more weeks. SHEESH! But all in all, I just can't wait to meet the little man.
I hope he has his daddies cute little cheeks, and nose, and beautiful eyes. And, well, I also hope he has his mommies charm. HEHEHE. TJ, I know you are laughing now. I think this little man, Paxton, is going to be the absolute light of both our lives. I have loved the time that TJ and I have had together as just he and I, but I am so excited and beside myself, to see how we do with a little TJ running around. I think it is just going to be great. And, I think my honey will be a GREAT dad. I can't wait to see how he melts when he holds and looks at Paxton!
Ok, now I'm just babbling. But, I wanted to update everyone on how things are going!

You are too cute! i love it when you start babbling. Those are usually the best blogs. Let me tell you the last three or four weeks I was pregnant with Hudson I literally slept sitting up. It was the only way I could get some sleep!
